課程概述

1. 這個華語課程是「高級2-3 (Advanced Mid Chinese III)」程度,提供通過臺大國際教育中心華語課程「高級2-2 (Advanced Low Chinese II)」課程者,或經由本校分班測驗判定適合學習高級2-3 (Advanced Mid Chinese III)者。
This Chinese language course is at the "Advanced Mid Chinese III" level and is open to students who have successfully completed the NTU International Chinese Language Program's "Advanced Low Chinese II" course or have been assessed through our university's placement test as suitable for studying at the "Advanced Mid Chinese III" level.

2. 本課程所使用的教材為《遠東生活華語3》(Far East Everyday Chinese 3),以社會中常討論的議題為主要課程內容,教師將視情況補充不同的文章幫助學生增加詞彙量,提升表達能力,希望學生能兼顧「聽說讀寫」四方面的語言能力,使學生可以流暢地與他人討論各種議題。
The course utilizes the textbook "Far East Everyday Chinese 3" and primarily focuses on topics commonly discussed in society. The instructor may supplement course materials with various articles as needed to help students expand their vocabulary and enhance their communication skills. Our goal is to ensure that students develop proficiency in all four language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—enabling them to engage in fluent discussions on a wide range of topics.

3. 本課程修課人數上限為25人,但教師有權決定是否收至25人。此外,若有學生想加入本課程,教師將視學生程度決定是否讓其加入。若原先被分入的班級為高級2-1以下的學生,因程度較低,恐無法跟上此課程,因此教師恐無法讓其加入此課程。
The maximum enrollment for this course is 25 students, but the instructor reserves the right to decide whether to accept up to 25 students. In addition, if any students wish to join this course, the instructor will assess their proficiency to determine whether they can be admitted. If students were originally placed in a class level lower than Advanced Mid Chinese II, they may not be able to keep up with the content of this course due to their lower proficiency level, and the instructor may be unable to admit them to this course.

課程目標
1. 學生能讀、寫正體字,且聽說讀寫四項技能都能達到各課標準。
Students will acquire the ability to read and write traditional Chinese characters, and their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills will reach the required level.

2. 學生能習慣正常語速以及聽懂不同口音,並藉由學習課本中所討論的話題,讓學生學會怎麼不依靠母語在華人社會與別人溝通,並能進一步討論更深入的主題。
Students will adapt to normal speaking speeds and comprehend various accents. They will engage in communication with others without relying on their native language and explore more advanced topics.

3. 學生能與他人流利地溝通,並能從不同角度思考,舉例子說明自己的看法,與他人辯論,或是說服他人相信自己的觀點。
Students can communicate fluently with others, think from various perspectives, provide examples to clarify their views, engage in debates, and persuade others to adopt their perspectives.

4. 本課程使學生能兼顧聽、說、讀、寫四方面的語言能力,提升學生使用書面語的能力,讓學生能流利地以精練的書面語句成篇表達,使學生不論在口語表達上,或是書寫文章時,都能兼顧語言形式與語言功能。除了培養理解能力和閱讀速度外,更著重於提升學生在詞彙與句型使用上的正確性與流利度,以期在語言的輸入和輸出上都能有同等優秀的表現。
This course provides comprehensive training in listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, fostering proficiency in standard language usage. Students will fluently and succinctly express themselves, both orally and in written form. We emphasize accuracy and fluency in vocabulary and sentence patterns to excel in both language comprehension and production.

5. 學生已開始大量接觸四字格、熟語,並且針對不熟悉、抽象與複雜的主題能進行假設與議論性的討論。可整合不同資料做出適當結論,並且站在不同立場說明不同觀點。
Students will begin learning numerous four-word idioms. They will engage in hypothetical and argumentative discussions on abstract and complex topics, summarize information, draw conclusions, and offer diverse viewpoints.

6. 學生更能流暢地討論不熟悉、抽象與複雜的議題,可發表條理清晰的演講及說明。碰到表達困難時,也懂得修正,或重新組織自己想說的內容。對於所閱讀之文章,或觀看之影片,能了解隱喻和言外之意。
Students can fluently discuss unfamiliar, abstract, and complicated topics, deliver well-structured speeches and instructions. When they encounter difficulties, they know how to resolve them and reorganize their expressions. They can also understand metaphors or implications in articles and videos.

Students attending classes are required to wear masks if they exhibit upper respiratory symptoms during class.

3. 請勿遲到、早退。每節課遲到、早退的時間超過20分鐘以1節課計。如果缺席超過3分之一,成績會不及格。

4. 上課時學生不說英文或其他語言。
Students are expected to communicate only in Chinese during class and refrain from using English or any other language.

5. 每個星期除了上課的時間以外,最少還需要用2~3小時預習和複習。上課以前一定要預習,要不然上課時恐怕沒辦法聽懂,而且會影響上課表現成績。
In addition to class time each week, students are expected to allocate at least 2-3 hours for pre-reading and review. Pre-reading is mandatory before each class to ensure comprehension during the lesson. Failure to do so may affect class participation grades.

6. 上課回答問題時,為了可以更了解學習的語法和生詞,一定要用老師給的語法或生詞說完整的句子。
When responding to questions during class, it is imperative to construct complete sentences using the grammar and vocabulary provided by the instructor. This practice enhances understanding of language structures and new vocabulary.

7. 上課時學生不該做其他事情,如寫功課、聊天、睡覺等與課程無關的事,違反此規定者每次將扣平時表現成績1分。
Students are expected to refrain from engaging in activities unrelated to the course during class, such as doing homework, chatting, or sleeping. Violation of this rule will result in a deduction of 1 point from the overall class participation grade each time.

8. 上課時,除了課程安排以外,不能使用手機、電腦等電子產品做跟課程無關的事,違反此規定者每次將扣平時表現成績1分。
During class, aside from course-related activities, the use of any other electronic devices for unrelated purposes is strictly prohibited. Violation of this rule will result in a deduction of 1 point from the overall class participation grade each time.

10. 若抄襲作業,或是找人代寫作業,經查證者,作業以0分計。
Plagiarism or submitting assignments completed by others, once verified, will result in the assignment being graded as 0 points.

11. 聽寫不能補考。至於其他考試,若學生未能在教師排定的時間考試(含平時考、期中考、期末考)或報告,一律以0分計。(若因病無法上課,以致無法參加考試或報告者,請先向老師說明,並給老師醫生證明,但總項一季以不超過2次為原則。)
There will be no make-up exams for dictations. Regarding other examinations, if a student is unable to take a test or submit a report at the scheduled time set by the instructor (including regular quizzes, mid-term exams, and final exams), it will be graded as 0 points. (If a student cannot attend due to illness, please inform the instructor in advance and submit a medical certificate. However, the total number of exceptions should not exceed 2 times per quarter as a general guideline.)

12. 學生成績計算方式以教學大綱上公告的為主,學生不得要求教師調整成績,如curve。

All course materials provided by the instructor will be available on NTU COOL. If printed copies are needed, please print them yourself.

14. 尊重老師及同學。如果上課中發生同學之間,或師生之間的爭執,或是上課時學生離題的情況,教師將視情況隨時打斷學生發言,以維護課程順利進行。
Respect for the instructor and fellow students is expected. In the event of disputes or off-topic discussions among students or between students and the instructor during class, the instructor may interrupt student remarks as necessary to maintain the smooth progression of the course.

15. 若學生有任何情緒過激的反應(如製造噪音、摔東西、激烈言語等),導致課程無法順利進行,教師有權視情況暫停課程,並請學生至教室外冷靜後再回到課程中。若此情況頻繁發生且屢經勸導無效,教師將通報辦公室。
If a student exhibits emotionally charged behavior (e.g., creating disturbances, throwing objects, using intense language) that disrupts the course, the instructor reserves the right to temporarily suspend the class. The student will be asked to step outside the classroom to regain composure before rejoining the class. If such disruptions persist despite counseling, the instructor will report the matter to the office.

16. 請共同建立平等尊重的環境,禁止歧視言行。請避免任何與宗教、國籍、種族、性別、性傾向等相關的歧視言行。如果上課中有歧視言行發生,教師將視情況打斷學生發言,或是請學生離開教室。
